More detail on inventory development can be found in the 'AusAgLCI Methodology for developing Life Cycle Inventory' documents located at www.auslci.alcas.asn.au. Data is based on the application of mill mud to cane fields in Queensland. Inputs are limited to transportation at this stage. Avoided application of fertiliser displaced by the nutrient value of the mill mud still needs to be considered . Transport distance is based on a typical radius of distribution between Queensland sugar mills and cane fields. Accumulation in cane soils of residues from mill mud stills needs to be considered.
