Unit process Australia v00.00.000

This truck is parametrised to allow the truck tare and truck load to be varied which dramtically effect the efficiency per tonne km. Included processes:Transport road and vehicle infrastructure vehicle operation including allowance for backhaul. Remark:Inventory is based on freight task which is the combined impacts of a freight movement based on measurement of the net distance multiplied by the net mass moved. Average load (28t) with backhaul of 1.2 (truck is empty 40% of the time). Inventory is an average of urban and rural transport. Geography: Refers to an average production in the Australia. Technology: Average Time period: Data collected for 2012 Version: 1.0 Record: Data entry by: Tim Grant Telephone: 0061 408104977; E-mail: tim@lifecycles.com.au; Company: LCS; Country: AU Generator: Data entry by: Tim Grant Telephone: 0061 408104977; E-mail: tim@lifecycles.com.au; Company: LCS; Country: AU

Parameters

NameValueFormulaDescription
fuel_use_ABSPerKm 0.551 — (2,1,3,1,1,na) Litres per km fuel use. ABS - average of vehicle class - adjust if you want a new benchmark for average fuel use but you need to update the load and tare parameters below at the same time.
Truck_Load 28.0 — Load on the truck when its transporting freight (ie not accounting backhaul)
Load_assumptionABSAve 28.0 — Value assumed in ABS benchmark per km fuel use listed above - if fuel use per km benchmark is updated this should be change to the assumption in the updated benchmark. For example if you update you average truck and its average fuel use - you also need to know the average load assumption and enter it here.
TruckTareABS_Benchmark 15.0 — Value assumed in ABS benchmark per km fuel use listed above - if fuel use per km benchmark is updated this should be change to the assumption in the updated benchmark. For example if you update you average truck and its average fuel use - you also need to know the average truck tare assumption and enter it here.
EDV_Diesel 38.3952 ed_diesel*D_diesel —
MJper_TKM_from_Freight_Load_Calc 1.0793752653061226 Fuelperkm/Average_load_ov*EDV_diesel MJ of fuel used per tonne km.
